Jersey Memorial Group was founded in 2009 and is privately owned by David Lee Hernandez, Jr. and his wife Stacey. It is the largest network of privately owned funeral homes in New Jersey, uniting trusted family firms, several serving their communities since the 1800s, and operating its own crematory with a documented identification and tracking process for every individual in our care.

Jersey Memorial is the most unique funeral service provider in New Jersey. Our locations have been regularly recognized by the National Funeral Directors Association with their Pursuit of Excellence Award for exceeding their highest standards of service and our community involvement. Funeral homes in New Jersey are unable to own and operate their own crematories in this state, by law. Because we own funeral homes in Pennsylvania, which does allow crematory ownership, we are the best choice for New Jersey families because every loved one always stays in the shelter of our professional care with no third parties involved.
