I would highly recommend Old Bridge Funeral Home. I was deeply touched by so many things during one of the most difficult times in my life. When David Hernandez and the young director placed a red rose on her hospital bed when you picked my mom up, i will never forget it. They were patient and truly understanding that night despite the wee hours of the morning, I am grateful. I was relieved when I found out her ashes could get back from the crematory in time for the memorial mass we were planning while the family was there, I am grateful. I was deeply touched by the comfort, professionalism, and condolences by Old Bridge Funeral Home and the entire staff.. Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated. As I reflect on those wonderful people who helped me get through this, Old Bridge Funeral Home is on the top of my list!

My family could not have been more pleased or more thankful for the guidance and service we received from David and his excellent team at Old Bridge Funeral Home. We were completely surprised by the passing of my mother and did not really know where to turn to find out how best to honor her.

We called two other funeral homes first that were more familiar to us in the community and were turned off that they seemed to have very little interest in what my mother's wishes were and wanted us to conform to their "usual" ways of doing things. When we called OB FH and the phone was answered by Matthew we knew we found the right place. From the very beginning their only genuine interest was on helping us through the grieving process. They did all of the listening where as the other places did all of the talking.

We could not have been more happy with the end result. The entire memorial service was a wonderful celebration of my mother. They handled every aspect that we wanted to outsource to them. Over 350 people attended and commented how beautiful the service was and how it made it easier to say goodbye to my mother. Their team even personally handled guiding 125 people to the lunch following the service at a restaurant over a half hour away. My mother would have been very touched by the entire day and it could not have been accomplished without Old Bridge Funeral Home. Thank you.

Dave Hernandez has been a true encouragement to many people we have directed to them. Not only has their over the top wonderful service been extended to many who were in dire straits but even during this Corona Virus pandemic they have personally taken care of us in every degree in the passing of our son.

We wanted to go with another funeral home but they didn't have the Saturday time we wanted. When my grandmother passed this January we were all at a loss but when Waitt said they had the availability we were able to get the ball rolling. We worked with Stephanie and she was AMAZING! IF I COULD GIVE HER MORE STARS I WOULD! The funeral home is open 24 hours so when we had questions in the evening she would call us back immediately. The funeral home offered complimentary live service for those who couldn't attend due to COVID! A service other homes don't provide. We made meal kits for our guests since we couldn't have a traditional reception. Stephanie offered to have her team pass it out to cars on there way out of the cemetery. She was very flexible. I hope it is a long time until we need their service again, but when the time comes we'll be going with Waitt Funeral Home again and asking for Stephanie!

My Grandma transitioned into a better place on June 27th, 2023. Ms. Brittany assisted our family during this time of need. There was absolutely no stress or worries regarding making great arrangements for my grandma. Ms. Brittany was absolutely amazing. Seriously!!! During our time of sorrow for the loss of our mom, Bolock was there from the beginning. Laura was the person who arrived at our home for the intake process which went well under the circumstances. She was consoling and precise about what we needed to do going forward regarding mom who passed at home where she preferred to be. Upon arriving at Bolock we met with Brittany who was the most caring, compassionate, professional ever. Above and beyond was the services provided which made the grieving process more of a blessing for our mom’s transition. We know that she is at peace in The Presence of The Lord but we knew that her remains was in good hands at Bolock. Thanks to all of the caring staff for making a hard time lighter.
